"Easter Seals Superior California is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering people with disabilities by offering a wide range of services and leadership opportunities designed to encourage maximum independence. In our Rehabilitation Department, we specialize in creating "A World of Possibilities" for every family and child we serve. We offer services for children from 0-22 in a variety of programs, including early intervention, school-based services, private pay, and insurance-based options, with the majority of the clients served being in the birth to 3 demographic. We pride ourselves in mentoring CF/RPE candidates. As a CF/RPE, not only will you have access to your CF/RPE supervisor, but will receive ongoing mentoring and support from both the director and assistant director of speech-language pathology and entire rehabilitation leadership team through our on-boarding process. You will also have the opportunity to work with a transdisciplinary team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, and child development specialists.  360 Degree Therapy is inviting SLP students graduating this semester to attend the CSHA Annual Convention in Pasadena, CA from March 14, 2019 to March 16, 2019.

 

Job description

  • Hosting at our booths for 6 Hours between March 14th and March 16th @ the CSHA Convention

  • Interacting with Speech Therapists, students and others visiting our booths at the Convention

We are an established and unique private speech language & literacy center serving the Sacramento Valley. Funding for our services are provided through the Sacramento RiteCare® Scottish Rite, a nonprofit philanthropic organization that has provided services to the Sacramento Valley since 1987. Our services are provided free of charge to our clients.

We are looking for independent contractors to provide diagnostic evaluations and one-on-one therapy to a diverse population of children between 18 months-12 years of age with language-based learning difficulties including oral language, phonological awareness, auditory processing and literacy delays, including dyslexia.

Our team of speech & language therapists work directly with families to facilitate carryover. We value collaboration and the clinician’s individual initiative to pursue continuing education towards becoming an increasingly skilled therapist.

Required Qualifications:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)

  • Speech-Language Pathologist License in the state of California

*SLP Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome to apply. CF mentoring is available.
